An Egyptian luxury car importer with a showroom in Mivida and 83.2K Instagram followers was sending phone visitors to a slow logistics template with no prices and nowhere to submit a build code. I rebuilt the whole pre-contract journey for a phone.

Answer the three questions before the branch visit.
A buyer arriving on a phone wants to know what the car will cost landed and registered, how long the import takes, and how the deposit is protected. The old site answered none of the three: no prices, counters stuck at 0%, and 3.3 MB across 102 requests before the first screen settled.
The redesign covers the whole journey before a contract, across 38 static pages in Arabic and English: browse ready cars with an estimated landed range, calculate the cost of any car line by line, send a maker build code through a 4-step order, and follow a shipment by the last 6 characters of its VIN.
The Mivida showroom, on a phone.
Real cars photographed outside the showroom are cut out and parked across the black and sandstone stage. Each card shows the year, mileage, power and an estimated landed range in EGP, and opens a car page with the full specification.

The price structure before any pressure.
The estimator takes the home-market price in EUR, USD or AED, the engine size and the origin, then prints a build sheet: car price, sea freight, customs and taxes, clearance and service fee. European EUR.1 relief and Gulf duties are compared side by side.

From build code to VIN tracking.
A sticky paste bar on the configurator page sends the maker’s build code into a 4-step order that issues a reference number and routes the WhatsApp message to Cairo or Sharjah. After purchase, a 7-stage tracker shows where the car is.

Where it goes next
The 38-page static site deploys to any edge host. The order step already supports a JSON webhook, so a CRM can be connected without changing the front end, while the formatted WhatsApp message stays as the fallback.
Connecting the live customs coefficients, confirmed showroom ranges and the internal shipment database turns the demo into the production site. First mobile load dropped from 102 requests (3.3 MB) to 14 (about 450 KB).
Honest scope
- Self-initiated redesign concept, not affiliated with or commissioned by Al-Shazly Group
- Showroom cars cut out from the company’s own Mivida photographs
- Price ranges, exchange rates and tax shares are marked as preview placeholders
- The VIN tracker runs on a labelled demo shipment (4F21A7)
- No conversion or revenue uplift is claimed
